Job Title: Process Development EngineerJob Description The Process Development Engineer I is responsible for leading a functional project engineering group within the department, consisting of multiple engineering disciplines. This role involves the design, development, documentation, and validation of new customer products, as well as the modification of existing products. Key activities include defining requirements, timelines, and deliverables with a focus on prototypes, process development, design verification, clinical builds, training production, and preparation for process validation and manufacturing transfer of products. Essential Skills + Validation + MS Project + Medical device knowledge + Process engineering + IQMS + PFMEA + Process development + Design Additional Skills & Qualifications + 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field required. + 5-10 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. + Experience with mechanical, tool design, and manufacturing processes preferred. + Strong organizational skills. + Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite and MS Project. + Ability to fully interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and illustrations. + Strong analytical skills to obtain, evaluate, and apply secondary research information. + Ability to learn and apply new technology. + Technical report preparation and good small group presentation skills. Work Environment The work environment involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, utilizing various technologies and equipment. The role requires strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and MS Project. The engineer will work on-site in an engineering/manufacturing environment, which may involve working with mechanical tools and manufacturing processes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
