About the role:

 

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

As a Process Development Engineering Intern, you will help drive Boston Scientific growth through development of world-class processes, technologies, and medical devices. Lead in delivering innovative solutions, enable new products and therapies through process capabilities, and deliver on committed projects. You could be placed in any of the following areas: Electrophysiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management Diagnostics, Endoscopy or Urology.   
 

Your responsibilities will include:  

Connect Research & Design to Manufacturing through development of processes, technology, and systems    Development of new process and test systems that scale to high volume, reduce variation, and increase quality    Partner with technology leaders to bring new capabilities to life   Responsible for conformance with global process development procedures Responsible for the integrity and content of Process Plans with respect to materials used in processing and sequencing of tasks Responsible for Manufacturing Instructions and material and process implementation within the Product Development lifecycle

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or dual master’s degree majoring in Electrical Engineering Must graduate between Fall 2025- Spring 2026 Must be able to commit to the internship program dates of May 19th- August 8th or May 27th- August 15th Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Motivation to learn and work hands-on with a team    Takes initiative with intellectual curiosity    Focus on teamwork and collaboration    Clear, direct, and concise communicator    Experience with development software and tools (CAD, Programming, DOE, DMAIC, etc.)

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
