The Process Development (PD) Internship at Thousand Oaks, CA will assist with the planning, execution, data analysis, presentation, and report writing of internal process development studies. The person in this position will work closely with the site process and analytical development staff. The position may also support other study activities as required.

Job DescriptionThis is an internship onsite position.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates on experimental design to support process development initiatives.Executes procedures based on SOPs and protocols.Conducts data acquisition, retention, and analysis.Applies statistical analyses to experimental results, enhancing process reliability.Engages in technical writing to document procedures and findings.Proposes new studies to further existing knowledge in process development workflows.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Biological, Bioprocessing, Science, Engineering, or relevant field Must have completed the Sophomore year
Desired Experience
Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in laboratory practices.Knowledge of cell-based therapy technologies and aseptic processing.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and LIMS.Analytical skills for data acquisition and statistical analysis.Experience in technical writing and experimental design.Ability to assess and execute complex laboratory procedures.Specific Skills and Competencies
Positive attitude with a strong desire to contribute to organizational successVerbal and written communication skills to comfortably and clearly articulate issues across the team. SharePoint & MS Office capability.Ability to work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of studies.Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.Problem-solving abilities are required for developing creative solutions and meeting objectives.Results oriented to deliver quality results and meet deadlines.Data analysis skills and an aptitude for analysis and measurement.
Compensation:
$20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience
