Our work depends on a Process Documentation Engineer joining Team GDIT’s Health Information Technology Modernization (HITMOD) Contractor Program Management Office (CPMO). As a Process Documentation Engineer supporting the HITMOD program, you will be responsible for supporting the Governance Team in the creation and management of HITMOD Program Process Artifacts on Team GDIT’s Process Asset Library (PAL).
HOW A PROCESS DOCUMENTATION ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Crafting important program artifacts documenting the procedures and policies necessary to ensure successful and repeatable program operations.Providing the Subject Matter Experts from a wide range of HITMOD Program areas a starting point for documenting their processes.Working closely with the HITMOD Process Engineers as they meet with the various subject matter experts (SMEs) discussing and optimizing various processes.With a keen attention to detail, working with SMEs to provide summaries and drafting content documenting program processes.Reviewing content with the SMEs and incorporating feedback into subsequent revisions.In collaboration with the HITMOD Process Engineers, uploading and maintaining all process documents on GDIT’s HITMOD Program PAL.Being a trusted resource to the GDIT Team and specialists in process documentation and technical writing for processes.WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience supporting medium to large IT projects to include process documentation activities.5+ years of relevant process documentation experience or technical writing.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.Experience communicating and interacting effectively with internal/external teams including key stakeholders and customers.Experience producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of the program.Must be able to travel up to 25%, as needed.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience supporting medium to large federal IT projects.Excellent communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage frequently changing priorities of competing importance.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines, following detailed written policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions.SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
