A large manufacturing client in Athens, TN is looking for a Process Engineer II to join their team. This role will play a vital role in the launch of two new project lines and will be responsible for coordinating installation of equipment, machine set up, and delivering product into mass production while ensuring safety and productivity. This role will require you to design all the prep and process documentation, support the install, and the validation of the line capabilities. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance, Quality, and Production, to improve manufacturing KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), cycle time, and manpower efficiency, using problem-solving methods like Six Sigma and PDCA. With a focus on automation and innovation, the engineer will ensure that all processes meet customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery while supporting the departments strategic goals and budget planning. Strong collaboration, technical expertise in AutoCAD and MS Project, and experience in project leadership are essential for success in this role.
