Responsibilities
The Business Unit Catalysts includes the business segments Propylene, Specialties, Syngas & Fuels, Ethylene, Biofuels & Derivatives and Applied Catalyst Technology. The business unit contributes significantly to value creation in our customers’ operations, ensuring that finite raw materials and energy are used efficiently and, in turn, ensuring the quality and yield of processes.
Continuous revision of processes focusing improvement in safety, quality, efficiency Coordinate the implementation of new products or processes at the plant Develop documentation to train operational people Lead, champion and support continuous improvement initiatives and activities to improve processes Paticipate in Green belt training and empower Yellow Belts Execute/monitor continuous improvement programs in costs, performance, quality, safety(KPI) Prepare know how transfer documentation ensuring smoothly start up Prepare start up schedule with detailed sequencing of equipment and activities Responsible for starting up certain areas/units defined by start up plan
Requirements
BS degree in chemical engineer or related career Over 2 years of experience in production, process improvement and/or R&D areas Social competence, leadership skills
