Position Summary:

We are in search of a highly energetic and innovative Process Engineer to join our team at the Assistant Manager or Manager level. The ideal candidate will exhibit a fervent passion for assisting clients, a commendable history of process enhancement, and the capability to lead projects and teams with assuredness. This role involves closely collaborating with clients to comprehend their challenges, devising effective solutions, and ensuring the successful execution of process improvements, with a strong emphasis on lean engineering and Six Sigma methodologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage process engineering projects with a focus on lean principles and Six Sigma techniques, from inception through to successful completion. Perform comprehensive analysis of current processes, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and devise innovative strategies to boost efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process engineering solutions are in alignment with broader organizational goals. Offer technical expertise and mentorship to clients and team members, promoting a culture of knowledge exchange and continuous improvement. Foster and sustain robust client relationships, understanding their unique needs and delivering outstanding service to ensure satisfaction and repeat engagements. Champion the integration of new technologies and methodologies to stay at the forefront of industry advancements and maintain our competitive edge. Mentor and cultivate junior engineers, aiding in their professional growth and ensuring their effective contribution to project success. Prepare and present persuasive presentations and reports to clients and stakeholders, articulating the benefits and impact of process engineering initiatives. Oversee project budgets, resources, and schedules, guaranteeing profitability and operational excellence.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is highly desirable. Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong emphasis on lean engineering and Six Sigma in a consulting and client-facing capacity. Demonstrated leadership and management experience in engineering projects, with a proven track record of successful implementation. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients and team members at all levels. Proficiency in process simulation and optimization software, as well as standard office applications. Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with clients and oversee project execution.
