Process Engineer:
My client is actively searching for a Process engineer focused on improving manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a foundry.
**Summary:** The Manufacturing Engineer will analyze product and manufacturing methods, establish process standards, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to improve manufacturing yields.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Review product and tool designs for compliance, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.
+ Educate process operators on procedures and implement lean manufacturing methods.
+ Develop rigging systems, fixtures, tooling, and gages.
+ Provide timely support for production floor troubleshooting.
+ Develop and document operating instructions to maintain process control.
+ Collaborate with the Quality Team to monitor metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
+ Participate in continuous improvement activities and assist in developing work standards.
+ Utilize process analysis, improvement, and communication tools.
+ Provide data to resolve customer issues and improve foundry practices.
+ Utilize CAD (e.g., Creo, Solidworks) for design and modeling.
**Skills/Experience Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
+ 2-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
+ Strong troubleshooting, process improvement, and project management skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience with process capability analysis (CP/CPK).
**Other Position Demands:**
+ Desire to work on the shop floor.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Base pay: $75000-$90000 with full benefits including health, life and dental and a 401k match.
**Pay Details:** $76,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
