Job Title: Process Engineer Job Description This position is part of the materials and process engineering group, supporting the glass-to-metal sealing operation. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. The candidate will be expected to ensure all the glass-to-metal sealing processes are followed and the equipment is maintained in working conditions. The candidate will also be working closely with the manufacturing engineering team to tackle the glass-to-metal sealing challenges as part of their day-to-day activities. Previous direct work experience in glass-to-metal sealing and operating or maintaining the convey belt or batch furnaces in a controlled atmosphere are required for this role. Hard Skills + Direct work experience in glass-to-metal sealing + Operating or maintaining convey belt or batch furnaces in a controlled atmosphere + Knowledge of general heat treatments, gases, equipment operation, and their effect on metallic and glass materials + Preparing and maintaining thermal processing profiles and environments + Developing and implementing processing improvements using process variation management or statistical process control tools Soft Skills + Providing training and recommendations to technicians or operators + Assuring adherence to the preventative maintenance schedule Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Glendale, California.
