Process Engineer

DUTIES:

· Evaluate manufacturing processes and propose improvements driving cost reduction

· Design and develop necessary tooling and fixturing to support production

· Conceptualize, design and deliver manufacturing solutions that meet or exceed the program requirements.

· Provide technical inputs for incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action.

· Support the launch process of new or reintroduced parts to production.

· Assist training production operators and documenting processes related to equipment usage.

· Attend program, design review, and group meetings and actively participate in discussions

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering

·  5-10 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

·  Required technical knowledge includes product, tooling, and fixture design, working knowledge of material selection including metals and non-metals

· Understanding of component manufacturing techniques, such as transfer and injection molding, machining, etc. Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD (required) and Solidworks (desired)

· Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience a plus
