Job Description
The Process Engineer is responsible for improving the manufacturing process, quality, methods, safety, environment, flexibility, and productivity of existing equipment. This role involves developing and optimizing reliable manufacturing processes related to phoscoat/phosphate coating. The engineer will need to understand chemical reactions and troubleshoot the phoscoat system, as well as design tooling, jigs, and fixtures to aid in racking or carriers that pull parts through the bath coat. Collaboration with the quality team to troubleshoot issues, such as blisters on parts, and adjust chemicals as needed is also essential. The Process Engineer will communicate with the German team for chemical support and will train team members in the area. Problem-solving skills, such as 5 Why or PDCA, will be utilized.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $110000.00
