Process Engineer is responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation of manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be able to improve manufacturing processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.
•\tCreate, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start up and certification.
•\tAssess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
•\tParticipate with Customers and Suppliers with new product introduction to ensure specifications are fulfilled.
•\tSupport any in-process issues
•\tDevelop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
•\tProvide process documentation and operating instructions.
•\tDrive Continuous Improvements increasing productivity, cost-savings within existing processes.
•\tPerform other duties as assigned
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
•\tPreferred 3-5 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering
•\tExcellent technical skills, GD&T experience
•\tKnowledge of process related standards
•\tWorking knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes
•\t3-5 years’ CAD/CAM experience preferred.
•\tAnalytical thinker with interpersonal skills
•\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
•\tExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
•\tMust be able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
•\tAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
•\tHigh school diploma or GED required.
•\tAssociate degree or higher in related field preferred
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $145000.00
