Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects across diverse industries such as mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing. You will be part of a supportive and multi-disciplined team, involved in projects from the initial planning stages through to design, construction, and startup operations. The position involves the delivery of industrial engineering design and construction services in various states including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.
ResponsibilitiesWork on challenging projects in various industries such as mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing.Collaborate in a collegial and supportive multi-disciplined team-based environment.Participate in projects from initial planning stages through design, construction, and startup operations.Deliver industrial engineering design and construction services in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.Perform industrial engineering design, chemical and process calculations, bench and pilot testing.Provide engineering services during the construction of projects.Essential SkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or other related field.5+ years of engineering experience in planning, engineering, design, construction, and commissioning.Experience with computer-aided drafting (CAD) and design applications (e.g., BlueBeam).Additional Skills & QualificationsEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain EIT within one year of employment.Professional Engineer license is preferred.Prior experience with industrial water, industrial wastewater, mechanical infrastructure, system controls, process automation, water/mass balances, or process design.Project development oversight and project management experience including scope, schedule, fee preparation, negotiation, project staffing, and coordination of activities.Work Environment
The work environment includes a hybrid model of home and office work. This role will also require time spent at client sites, ensuring dynamic and varied work settings. The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00
