Division Overview:

Crown’s Closures, Aerosol & Promotional Packaging (CAPP) Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for the largest consumer packaging companies in North America.  Our distinguished list of clients including SC Johnson, Abbott Laboratories and Unilever.    We manufacture total packaging solutions including:

Closures: We manufacture a variety of decorative food and metal vacuum sealed closures, metal and composite closures, capping systems for glass and plastic container manufacturers.

Aerosol Packaging: We manufacture cans and ends for manufacturers of personal care, food, household and industrial products.  We offer our customers a broad range of products including multiple sizes, color schemes and shaped packaging.

Promotional and Specialty Packaging: We manufacture a wide array of decorative containers with numerous lid and closure variations.

Position Overview:

The Process Engineer works closely with the Plant Superintendent to ensure the production of a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. 

Duties And Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Plant Superintendent, the Process Engineer responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:   

Establish processing parameters that meet or exceed business objectives for cost, quality, and efficiency Collaborate with production teams and leadership to drive enhancements in productivity, safety and quality Guide operations in the evaluation of new production opportunities, improving existing operations, cost-saving ideas and troubleshooting issues. (Consumable reduction, spoilage reduction, Time savings, SOP’s etc.) Monitor processes for effectiveness Collect and analyze process data Apply detailed, structured problem solving to correct process shortcomings. Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to perform controlled experiments to correct or improve performance Support training activities including scheduling and executing of trainings of current and new employees. Advise Plant Engineer and operations of potential problems, risks and roadblocks while providing solutions for corrective action Performs other duties as required or assigned
