Process EngineerOverall responsibilities and duties:
The role of a Process Engineer is to manage the process of equipment – existing and purchases, tool design, tool build and tool try out, respecting objectives set in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery. The main missions of the role are to:
o Be responsible for the successful completion of programs from receipt of order through a successful 'Run at Rate.'
o Use the Advanced Product Quality Planning process to ensure objectives are met.
o Track and report the status of the project, following the ratio of expenses against budget and monitoring quality, cost and delivery performance (i.e. presentations, meetings, customer visits¿)
o Be in charge of communication with the customer and for providing documentation.
o Keep up to date documentation related to new equipment &tooling.
o Manage Engineer Change Requests (quoting, implementation, etc...)
o Ensure the new tooling equipment conforms with the Group's Health, Safety & Environment standards.
o Validate the tooling & equipment (Run at Rate)
o Contribute to the improvement of tooling standards.
o Train the operators on the safe operation of new tooling &equipment, properly identified, and provide them with tooling & equipment instruction.
o Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions concerning subcontracting and tooling department services.
o Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
o Responsible for the quality of the product
o Responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental
o Other tasks assigned according to the position and company needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
o 3 to 5 years of experience within the automotive industry
o Experience in project management
o Economics skills (cost tracking)
o Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety & Environment practices
o Strong teamwork skills, interpersonal and communication skills
o Ability to work in a matrix organization.
o Bi-lingual preferred (English required)
Experience:
o Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, including at least one position in Manufacturing Engineering
o Manufacturing or related experience preferred.
o Robot (Motoman or Fanuc experience)
Skills and competencies:
o Ability to interface with all other functions and work with employees at all levels of the organization.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Auto CAD, Allen-Bradley software/programming, robot programming and Electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge
o Must be knowledgeable in Process and Manufacturing methods.

Physical Requirements:
o Exposed to heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
o Job involves lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
o Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and safety anti-cut sleeves required in production area due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts, and product.
