Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the sizing, specification, requisition, and installation of process and utility safety devices. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our processes and systems, and will play a key role in managing projects at various domestic and international sites.
ResponsibilitiesActively complete sizing, specification, requisition, and installation of process and utility safety devices.Conduct thorough reviews of processes, batch sheets, P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams), and auxiliary systems for safety device specification.Participate as a member of the HAZOP (hazard and operability) team for the safety review of new and existing processes and utility systems.Support site safety valve sizing efforts.Review Manufacturing/Operating Instructions and necessary Standard Operating Procedures.Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot the process control system.Carry out technical assessments for the evaluation of processes.Ensure adherence to site safety and quality standards.Essential SkillsExperience with HAZOP team participation.Working knowledge of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Sections I, IV & VIII, API (American Petroleum Institute) 520, and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 30 requirements.5+ years of experience in a regulated pharma or biotech environment.Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biochemical, or Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, HPLC, bioreactors, and other lab/manufacturing equipment.Experience managing key projects at various domestic and foreign sites for clients.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00
