Process Engineer
Summary: Responsible for continuous improvement ofinjection molding processes. Works with production management, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify process activities to support customer requirements. Implementnew methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and affect greater utilization of labor and materials.   MainResponsibilities, Requirements, and Competencies Motivate and provide direction to the Process Technicians ensuring appropriate directions, training, and evaluation. Develop and maintain the process standards in which all parts are manufactured.  Review production and operating records and resolves technical processing issues.  Follow established action plans forprocesses out of range. Specify project management and buy off of new equipment.  Manage exploration of new materials and processes in order to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability.  Motivate and train the mold setters, ensuring appropriate training and evaluation.  Verify and apply narrow ranges for optimumprocesses to meet customer expectations. Manage exploration of new materials and processes in order to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability. Compile data and analyze past and current information in order to assist in the preparation of the budget and reduce operational costs.  Work with tool shops for all tool repairs and maintenance. Maintain documentation closely, following necessary timelines on specific projects. Enforce safety rules daily.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Plastics / Manufacturing / MechanicalEngineering, Technology Degree or similar. 

*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

2-5 Minimum Years ofExperience with Injection Molding with presses ranging from 85-3200 tons.  At least 2 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
