Process Engineer - Daytona Beach, FL

Salary Range: 100,000-115,000/yr

Job Description: Join our team as a Process Engineer in Daytona Beach, FL, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our manufacturing processes. You'll recommend and implement improvements to design processes, methods, and controls, prepare quotations for new product RFQs, and assess the feasibility of manufacturing parts. You'll also plan and establish engineering schedules, monitor performance against estimates, and coordinate the manufacturing launch for new or revised products. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, developing, testing, and sourcing various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended design methods. Additionally, you'll perform product/process analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement, oversee the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, manage projects from concept to production, approve process specifications and design standards, create and edit CNC programs, and make timely, informed decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, and risks.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC machining and programming, with a solid understanding and demonstration of machining methods.Strong technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods, including flow, layout, assembly, and production equipment.At least 3 years of engineering experience in a fast-paced, continuous improvement, production environment.Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and CAM Simulation Software.Experience in coding and programming machines.Ability to assess quotes and determine manufacturability of parts.Aerospace industry experience with AS9100 knowledgeProcess engineering experience.Experience with lathes and mills.Experience with lean manufacturing.Experience in continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00
