Responsibilities include creating process drawings, estimating and quoting new jobs, developing process routers in the ERP system (Global Shop), assisting with quality plans, and providing shop floor technical support. The role also involves evaluating and implementing continuous process improvements.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain process drawings and documents for Swiss machining and external vendors.Estimate and quote new projects, develop process routers, and analyze costs in ERP system.Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and vendors.Analyze production performance to identify areas for improvement.Establish and maintain detailed manufacturing procedures in ERP system.Spend 60% of the time on the shop floor addressing process issues.Dedicate 15% of the time to process drawings and ECOs.Collaborate with clients and vendors for 15% of the time.Essential SkillsEngineering degreeManufacturing experience (preferably in Swiss machining)Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledgeProficiency in SolidWorksExperience in Lean ManufacturingContinuous improvementProcess engineeringAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in programmingTooling selectionManufacturing internshipERP knowledgeRoutingPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
