The Process Engineer is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing process engineering projects to enhance operational efficiency at the site. This role involves planning, organizing, and integrating process improvements while ensuring optimal utilization of personnel, equipment, materials, and workflows. Key responsibilities include plant and area layout design, equipment justification, and the documentation of manufacturing methods and sequences.

In this role, you can expect to:
Project Management:
Evaluate and justify new equipment procurement through the capital appropriations process (CAPEX). Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to develop equipment User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS). Lead commissioning and validation of new equipment. Ensure project deliverables align with scope, budget, and deadlines while coordinating cross-functional collaboration to meet project requirements.Process Development, Support, and Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement by optimizing existing processes and developing new ones using scientific principles, best practices, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology. Collaborate with R&D and Operations to coordinate pilot production runs, conduct Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), and facilitate technology transfers. Lead and support quality complaint investigations by identifying root causes of non-conformances and implementing corrective actions. Collect and analyze critical process and equipment data to support projects, trials, studies, and validation protocol development. Assist in developing, testing, and improving manufacturing processes to reduce costs, labor, and variability while increasing yield. Plan, coordinate, and execute test protocols, process characterization, and validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for new and revised products and processes. Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other required validation documentation.Technical Plant Support:
Assist in troubleshooting and technical support for manufacturing and extrusion operations. Provide technical support for non-routine maintenance of facility infrastructure, services, and major processing equipment. Support internal departments, including Manufacturing, Sales, and Quality, by resolving product, process, and equipment issues with both immediate and long-term solutions.
