Process Engineer
Job Title: Process EngineerJob Description Assist Process Engineers in capturing operational data as outlined in work instructions. Assist floor personnel with technical issues encountered during production. Drive quality and labor improvements and assist the business team with customer/build-related issues that may require technical expertise. Collect data, help establish processes upon initiation via NPI, ECN, or process improvement. Create technical process manuals and documents as outlined by Process Engineering or Manufacturing personnel. Assist in the training of personnel in the use of documentation, equipment, and associated processes. Work with a wide range of individuals (customers, suppliers, management, production workers, etc.) and understand the concept of 'know your audience' to tailor your approach. Provide support to other departments and support company objectives as defined by the Engineering Manager. Provide status updates to Process Engineer and/or other Managers concerning progress on assigned activities. Assist production with technical/process issues and write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals. Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Essential Skills + 3+ years working with PCBA. + 3+ years with SMT Manufacturing equipment. + Experience with SMT soldering, PCBA, electronics, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, troubleshooting, manufacturing process, and lean manufacturing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + AAS or Bachelor's in Engineering or electronics (nice to have). Work Environment Onsite position with the possibility to start as early as 1 or 2 pm. The role involves working with various technologies and equipment used in manufacturing processes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
