To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the process engineering & preparation of drawings and technical documentation required for the execution of Industrial projects including petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food, agrifood and any of Industrial processing area from concept design, FEED design and detailed design.

Responsibilities:

Review or assess process requirements and safety design as per standard.Prepare high quality engineering deliverables within agreed timeline.Developing process architecture.Calculate Material Balances, Production Scheduling and Planning.Calculate pressure drop and hydraulics.Review and Developing BFDs / PFDs / P&IDs / Data Sheets.Review and Developing User Requirements Specifications / Equipment Specifications / Process Descriptions.Review and Developing the Detailed Process Engineering.Coordination and management of process equipment vendors.Technical clarification with vendor and/or subcontractor.TBE of vendor or sub-contractor.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline.8-15 years’ experience in the process engineering preferably in Semiconductor projects.Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia. PEng is an added advantage.Experienced in EPCM work environment.Experienced in Management of Change (MOC) projects are an added advantage.Experience on equipment selection and process architecture for food & Beverage, biopharmaceutical, biotech, and any other industrial-based manufacturing facilities will be an added advantage.Highly developed skills in process detailed design and optimization.Knowledge on GMP or chemicals / pharmaceuticals regulated environment (USFDA and EMEA regulations) and industrial standard.Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team and hybrid environment.Good communication skills. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Frequent coordination with senior internal and external personnel, often across departments.Skill in identifying technical gaps and developing solutions.Ability to communicate complex technical information to audiences with varying technical knowledge.
