Work with the quality control team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet industry standards and customer specifications. Assist in the development of quality assurance procedures. Ensure that all processes are compliant with local and international safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Implement safety procedures and train staff on safety protocols. Essential Skills + Process improvement + Manufacturing engineering + Process engineering + Tooling + Six Sigma + Aluminum casting + Lean manufacturing + Manufacturing process Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the aluminum manufacturing or metals industry. + Strong understanding of process control and optimization in a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in using process simulation software and other engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.). Work Environment There are currently 205 employees, with 140 unionized. The team includes 6 engineers, 3 of which are process engineers. This role involves splitting time between the office and the manufacturing floor. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.87/hr.
