Collaborate with production teams, maintenance, and new product development to support the development and implementation of process improvements. Contribute to the improvement of on-time delivery, scrap reduction, and project implementations to enhance product throughput. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Evaluate existing production processes and recommend changes to improve productivity, quality, and safety. Work with the quality assurance team to establish standards, methods, and procedures for manufacturing operations. Implement corrective actions for quality issues and work on continuous improvement projects. Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability. Provide technical support and training to production staff. Drive lean and productivity improvement initiatives plant-wide through the development and implementation of new processes, equipment, and processes. Participate in Lean activities including Kaizen events, 5S, 8D, Preventative Maintenance programs, root cause analysis, 5 Why, and other Lean tools to enhance productivity. Assist in the transfer of new product development into production ramp-up including capital expenditures, project ownership transition, and structured hand-off to manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
+ 3+ years of professional engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proven track record of leading process improvement and development projects.
Work Environment
Old school manufacturing company. Process engineers will have an office but will be on the floor frequently. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
