Process Engineer- Controls

The Process Control Engineer will:

Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Analyze project scopes, establish criteria, and conduct feasibility studies. Provide technical guidance to teams, promoting a safe and effective work environment. Education: Bachelor’s Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in process control or similar roles in refining/chemical industries 8 years in controls supervision without a degree. Technical Skills: Advanced skills in modeling, multivariable control, DeltaV, DCS/PLC configuration, and instrument tuning. Other Requirements: Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach Valid driver’s license and eligibility for Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Engineering Expertise: Guide engineering efforts to ensure safe and compliant design across projects. Project Management: Define and control project scopes to improve refinery operations and oversee work quality, budget, and timelines. Training & Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and trainer to new engineers, keeping teams updated on technology and best practices. Advanced Control Projects: Lead and optimize control system design and implementation to enhance unit performance. System Maintenance: Ensure the efficient operation of Process Control System (DCS), Multivariable Control (MVC), and Safety Instrumented System (SIS).
