Primary responsibility will be to own the EXTREME ULE thermal processing steps. Key responsibilities will be ownership and eventual transfer to operations of the process and equipment for low volume manufacturing for the EXTREME ULE process, specifically the process steps after pressing all the way through glass annealing. Writing and issuing of run plans and run reviews, equipment and process troubleshooting and interacting with a diverse team located both in Canton and globally. In addition, using MEE to further improve the process / product and reduce cycle time and cost. Understands Corning's Intellectual property management processes and follows that process in documenting any intellectual property developed as part of a project.

Work Allocates time and attention based on what is the most important to achieve key goals and objectives; approaches work in an organized and systematic manner; optimally handles tasks, information, and requests Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical, Ceramic, Materials Science or equivalent technical experience Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing industry experience Track record of delivering results Knowledge in a technical field Project team membership. MS office: particularly Word, Excel (ability to build queries, set up spreadsheets with formulas, etc.). Must have a desire to analyze and interpret data. Ability to work in multi-functional teams. Interact with others and actively seek out answers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Work with minimal direction (can plan/organize their activities based on objectives). The range for this position is $79,997.00 - $109,996.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
