ResponsibilitiesThe Process Engineer will support the Quality Assurance / Process Integrity department in deploying the FRC Process Effectiveness Management System (PEMS) across the established maintenance (Mx) capability processes executed by MRO-Production. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Immediately accountable for planning, controlling, and improving the inherent design of assigned Mx processes, including all process input variable requirements. Responsibility for the performance of the Mx process in achieving its objectives measured by key process indicators and make necessary changes related to achieving these process objectives.Serve as Process Engineering mentor within the Process Integrity - Process Engineering group.Explaining the purpose of a process across the organization.Ensuring process objectives.Determining, implementing, and monitoring metrics ( KPIs).Improving process performance.Ensuring quality reporting.Negotiating process conflicts with other respective process owners of key input variables.Conducting required employee training.Reviewing, approving, and communicating process changes and/or improvements.Driving toward system improvement goals.Periodically presenting to Leadership the current state of improvement and opportunities.Representing Mx process co-workers during internal process assessments and third-party assessments. Qualifications Educational Requirements: Engineering BS degree (Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering).Experience Requirements: 3-10 plus years demonstrated manufacturing or maintenance process engineering experience preferably in the automotive or aerospace industries.
