Our GFS Manufacturing group is looking for a Process Engineer to support our growing Food & Beverage and Consumer Products practices. The successful candidate will:
+ Have experience in project execution, preferably from multiple project phases.
+ Has worked with development and maintenance of PFDs and P&IDs.
+ Worked in equipment sizing and specifications, develop instrument process data and specifications.
+ Has the potential to develop into a leader at a lead discipline engineer.
+ Develop process models with commercially available programs (Aspen, Hysys, ChemCAD) or by building a custom model in Excel.
This position requires a competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. The position may require travel to support projects, estimated at 30%.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and minimum 3 years of process engineering experience, consulting preferred.
+ Bachelor Degree in Chemical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and minimum 3 years of process engineering experience, consulting preferred.
+ Master Degree in Chemical Engineering and minimum 2 years of process engineering experience, consulting preferred.
+ Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
+ Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
+ Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
+ Strong computer skills include process simulation software (i.e. Hysys and/or Aspen, HTRI).
+ Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
+ Engineers in Training-EIT Certification Preferred
**Compensation**
$120,000.00-230,000.00 Annually
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
