Process Engineer General
Job Summary:
Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Process Engineer General. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
Modernize and streamline requirement management and system engineering process, methods & tools to industry standards.
Improve requirement quality and leverage existing tools to transform and refactor requirements.
Identify, align, and publish process updates for Global Standards pertaining to Requirements Management.
Develop and maintain Corporate Standard for Requirements.
Develop & update procedures for Design verification & Production validation , Verification Methods, Engineering Specification, Engineering Signoff for Requirement authoring, quality, and traceability.
Manage Requirements process for Program Deliverables ( Design Verification Plan & report).
Communicate and train authoring and program engineering teams on process updates and adherence to published processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Position has responsibility for managing Quality Operating System Global Standards that pertain to Requirements Management for product development . Must work collaboratively with functional organizations to align and implement lessons learned and best practices for process, methods, and tools for engineering requirements management. Communicate and provide training for process, developing single point lessons and training materials as needed. Coach Requirement authors on how to write quality requirements and manage core assets in tools. Work with engineers and engineering signoff to implement process for program execution of requirements. Communication and training of processes globally using Tech Club forums, Zone Training, Workshops, and developing corporate training modules as needed.Basics:
3-5 Years of experience in Requirement process management. A minimum of Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience. Working level knowledge of ISO, ASPICE, INCOSE, and Systems V. Strong communication and facilitation skills, excellent networking skills and relationship building skills. Ability to work independently & Proven ability to “own working together” across a variety of product and integration teams. Successful track record collaborating with wide range of team members to drive common processes and tools. Demonstrated mastery of Requirements process, methods, and tools. Experience in authoring requirements with mastery in technical writing skills. Position fully onsite.Preferred:
Master’s Degree. Expert level capability in system engineering principals as applied to behavior analysis, requirement authoring decomposition, cascading, and verification of requirements.How You Will Be Successful:
