Process Engineer II
OVERVIEW Merrick & Company is seeking an Process Engineer (minimum of 4 years of experience) for our Greenwood Village, CO or Tulsa, OK offices. Local candidates only. This process engineer will work primarily on energy and bioprocessing projects. A successful candidate will be placed in a key engineering role, working within a small, multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers to execute design and engineering on projects. Typical annual pay range for this position is $81,000.00 - $100,000.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO Analyze equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate designs. Prepare process design deliverables including: Process Flow Diagrams Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams Orifice and equipment sizing calculations Process line sizing calculations Equipment and Instrument datasheets Vendor coordination for selection of instrumentation and equipment. Perform many process tasks autonomously (e.g. calculations, report writing, options study) Review and check the work of other process engineers to determine accuracy and completeness. Coordinate design inputs and design activities with other engineering disciplines in a team environment. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Minimum of four (4) years related experience and/or training. EIT and working toward Professional Engineer license.
