Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Business.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPartner with OPEX team members to find and implement continuous improvement projects aligned to reduce operations EBITA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, & Amortization) •\tPerform daily tasks associated with process engineering such as: MP (Manufacturing Procedure) audit/creation, SAP routings, quality control and deviation submissions, tooling creation/improvements…•\tFind and pitch improvement ideas, and then execute ideas if approved into a full project•\tDocument any best practices discovered and/or standards implemented

Qualifications for the role

\tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering in the United States. \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions\tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines\tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality\tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
