Job DescriptionEnsure implementation of measures and maintain controlsRaise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and dutiesEnsure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazardsDemonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate othersCommunicate with QM and PI regarding legal and corporate standards as well as customer requirementsCascades and implememts standards and requirements to department processesParticipates in external and internal audits, develops and implements improvement plansFollow up quality KPIs and enables corrective and improvement actionsSupport machine trouble, scrap and cycle time improvementParticipate in external and internal audits, develop and implement improvement plansRecipe Management: Inserting of recipes into equipment, maintaining and optimization of recipes, documenting of recipesCreation of process related documentation, performance reports, book of requirements, guidelines, work instruction, process specificationProcess implementation and release according specifications and development of standard operating proceduresArchiving records, reports, surveys & justificationsBe responsible for productive efficiency of his/her respective section. Define measures to improve process to maximum utilization rate of machine and eliminate all kinds of wasteBe responsible for his/her respective section's costEquipment, Tooling & Process requirements are aligned and suitable for achieving product requirementsImplementation of corrective actions to reduce scrap, rework / workoff and increase stability, efficiency and tire yieldConducting structured problem solving, incl. lessons learned documentation and implementationShare know how through an internal and global networkEnsure pro-active identification of potential issues: GEMBASupport R&D / PI by ensuring allocation of appropriate process resources for ETOs and deliver those in highest possible quality in right amount
QualificationsMaster’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field3-5 years experience in Production and Manufacturing environment or Tire Manufacturing is preferableMinimum 3 years experience in Process Engineer or relevant area Mixing to Final Finishing or Automotive Industry BusinessProject management knowledgeStrong knowledge in Product & Process Development methodology, procedures & practicesKnowledge of FMEA & Process Control, Problem Solving Techniques (e.g. FMEA, 5 Why, A3, Cause/Effect)Ideally had exposure to international projects or worked in a cross cultural environmentGood command in English
