**Overview**
As a Process Engineering Intern - Tranducers (Summer 2025; 3 - 4 months), you will gain hands-on experience supporting the development and optimization of medical ultrasound transducer manufacturing processes. You will work closely with experienced engineers to learn about various aspects of manufacturing, including process development, troubleshooting, and quality control. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the medical device industry and help you develop practical engineering skills.

**Job Description**
**Essential Job Functions:**
+ Complete aproject to enhancetransducerassembly instructions by incorporating interactive technologiessuch asvideo tutorials,augmented reality,and gamified learning.
+ Assistin developing and sustaining ultrasound transducer manufacturing processes.
+ Support troubleshooting of manufacturing processes.
+ Contribute to the creation and update of engineering documentation such as process maps, process FMEAs,assembly instructions, test methods, drawings, and test reports.
+ Collaborate withmanufacturing andoperations teams toidentifyareas of improvement.
+ Assistin investigating new tools, materials, manufacturing processes, andtechnologies.
+ Participate in the transfer of designs fromdevelopment intomanufacturing.
**Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Pursuing a B.S. degree inManufacturing Engineering,Industrial Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
+ Strong interest in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.
+ Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Hourly internship rate:** $20.00
