TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity to work on the permanent roles of a European EPC company headquartered in the Czech Republic as Process Engineering Manager. The location will be Kolkata in West Bengal.

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing processes for steel EPC projects. This role requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles, strong project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the process design and development for steel EPC projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies to evaluate the performance and efficiency of proposed processes. Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Perform process calculations, including mass and energy balances, to support design and optimization efforts. Specify and select process equipment, ensuring compatibility with project requirements and standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Provide technical support during the procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of projects. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety. Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation to clients and stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 12 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on steel industry EPC projects. Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD). Strong knowledge of process design principles, equipment selection, and industry standards. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
