To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Process Engineering Manager located in South Carolina, Columbia.
Reporting to the General Manager the Process Engineering Manager role will be In charge of Responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.Establish and improve process capabilities.Develop and maintain process documentation.Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.Improve throughput in constrained areas.Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. A Master's or MBA degree is preferredDemonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.Typically requires 9 years of engineering experience including supervision.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
