Special projects involve a wide array of tasks including but not limited to: + Identifying new equipment and technologies + Managing new equipment installation and identifying the required infrastructure + Working with the process engineering team to trouble shoot process excursions + Working with process and factory personnel to optimize tool performance for yield and efficiency What You Will Do + Attend and contribute to the daily planning meetings + Identify shortcomings in all areas of the factory including process, logistics and safety concerns + Interface with and manage external contractors hired to support ongoing Raytheon projects + Provide weekly summary reports of accomplishments and areas of concern that need support from the leadership team + Be prepared to engage in supporting the enterprise outside of normal working hours on an ad hoc basis Qualifications You Must Have . + Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience. + Experience must be from working in a semiconductor fabrication setting Qualifications We Prefer + 10+ years of hands-on work experience with vacuum systems including trouble shooting anomalies + 10+ years of hands-on work experience with power supplies used for creating plasma activated engineering processes + Extensive experience with compressed gases and cryogenic systems used in process engineering disciplines + Working knowledge of electroplating processes including chemistry and safety constraints + Demonstrated successes with process start up, maintenance and development resulting in measurable yield and throughput improvements + Clear concise confident communication skills for interfacing with upper management Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role. + Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This is a temporary position of an undetermined length The hourly range for this role is $39.42 to $78.84. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
