Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Technician located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineering Technician performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering.

Shift: Monday- Friday | 6:00am-2:30 pm

What a typical day looks like:

Perform set-up of processing equipment.Monitor, audit and provide guidance to line operators and maintenance personnelProcess test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.Line change configuration.Perform and assist with corrective maintenance and yield improvement activitiesFollows escalation procedures.Work with cross functional teams interfacing with different departments like Operations, Quality, Etc.Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues in a timely manner.Comfortable working in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

2 years of related experience supporting front end and Screen Printer Process & Solder Paste Inspection .Experience in SMT process Setup, operation and maintenance of industrial equipmentOperators trainingBasic knowledge of Microsoft office Experience working in a regulated industry (Solar, Aerospace, or Automotive), with compliance to FDA, NHTSA, FTC, ISO or other regulatory requirements.
