Join our exceptional team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a PPI Business System Specialist I in Richardson! As a valued member of our manufacturing team, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvement initiatives and making a positive impact on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

Supervise the progress of improvement efforts and integrate prior initiativesTrain new and existing employees on lean tools and onsite programsCoach and develop leaders to adopt lean concepts and techniquesFacilitate cross-functional teams to improve current processes and communicate resultsMonitor key performance indicators, perform root cause analysis, and implement action plans for continuous improvementProcess data, build presentations, and record results using Microsoft Office suiteUpdate and own process improvement projects in the PPI funnel for VSM areaAttend Daily Tier meetings with VSM teams and GembaStay abreast of new developments in business process improvement methodology

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in process improvement or other lean manufacturing programExperience leading multiple cross-functional team projects with responsibility for resultsProficient skills with Microsoft Office suiteExcellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to multitask priorities and projectsAbility to encourage innovation, collaboration, and team efficiencyAbility to create and deliver training material on lean topics and site initiatives
