Process Improvement Engineer

Description

Product Development: Lead the creation of new consumer products from concept to market launch.Idea Generation: Coordinate brainstorming sessions to develop innovative product ideas.Market Analysis: Analyze trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows and events to stay updated on trends and technologies.Technology Evaluation: Investigate new mechanical technologies to improve manufacturing processes.Design Improvement: Evaluate and enhance existing mechanical designs for efficiency and quality.Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes, ensuring they meet standards and feasibility.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.Intellectual Property: File for IP protection and perform patent searches.Quality Optimization: Use Six Sigma and data-driven approaches to improve product quality.Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align designs with business goals.Project Management: Manage multiple projects from idea to launch, ensuring timely delivery.Communication: Update stakeholders on project status and address any issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
