Discover Impactful Work:

The role will facilitate implementation of the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System at the site to enable profitable growth, intensify the customer experience and increase employee engagement. The position collaborates with essential team members to lead projects and kaizen events by deploying structured problem solving to improve systems and eliminate waste.

A day in the Life:Lead/work with functional teams to streamline processes to improve profitable growth and become more efficientCultivate an action-biased culture of continuous improvementTrain, coach and follow-up with teams to ensure system improvements are sustained and running processes independentlyWork closely with site PPI steering committee to identify ways to accelerate the culture change necessary to support the PPI Business SystemHelp teams identify new projects through data analysis and daily management systems.Work with the corporate PPI team to develop/promote/standardize PPI and share standard processes.Lead and develop the PPI project funnelKeys to Success:EducationBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, supply chain, operations or business preferred. High School Diploma/GED required.A Lean Practitioner with 3+ years of experience preferredExperienceLeadership roles from teams such as operations, commercial, engineering, quality, or product management preferredVisual management/5S, value stream mapping, standard work, metric boards, stand-up meetings and project funnel coordinationExperience in lean Six Sigma, Black Belt, lean methodologiesExperience in Process Improvement and Operational ExcellenceKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesPassion for driving improvement and leading changeConsistent track record for developing, training, and coaching teamsGreat communicator, including solid written, oral and presentation-giving skills.
