This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new lithium-ion battery production facility in Penang, Malaysia for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.
Job Summary:Enovix is seeking a Process Integration Engineer to develop our next generation high energy density Li-ion batteries. The candidate will work cross functionally to develop processes and materials related to our cell assembly and packaging. This includes defining and qualifying new processes, transferring processes to higher volume production, overseeing cell builds, performing root cause analysis, understanding safety and performance test data, analyzing cycle time and yields and effectively communicating the results.Responsibilities:Lead cross functional teams of process engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers to develop materials, processes, and tooling for next generation cell designs.Effectively collaborate with colleagues around the world – in California, India, Korea and Malaysia.Technology and process transfer from low volume to high volume production.New material selection and qualification.Design and run well-designed experiments based on DOE methodologies.Analyze and summarize cell performance data. Develop SPC and characterize Process Capabilities (Cpk’s).Perform FMEA and root cause analysis.Create and maintain project plans and drive projects to completion.Effectively communicate the results to various stakeholdersBS, MS, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field with 2+ years industry experience. A proven track record of process integration in the scale-up to high-volume manufacturing is preferred.Experience in design, development, and manufacturing of Li-Ion batteries is preferred.Demonstrated technical program management skills such as meeting deadlines and milestones as well as excellent communication skills such as summarizing data and writing reports.Demonstrated capability to effectively analyze process data and extract/summarize meaningful information.Familiarity with SPC, DOE, FMEA and 8D methodologies.Willingness to travel (< 20% of work time.)Enovix is an equal opportunity employer.
