We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas. Position Summary: The Process Lead is responsible for supporting leadership in production operations, encompassing assembly, machinery, processing, and/or packaging. Conducting efficient leadership through training, motivational skills, and the ability to inspire and influence Skilled Machine Technicians (SMT) while working under the guidance of a supervisor. Responsible for setting production schedules based on material supply, staffing resources, and required volume to meet demand, ensuring optimal production quantity and quality. Essential Duties: Coordinate an assigned team with constant professionalism, integrity, mindfulness, and composure. Daily interactions, including decision making, process-driven guidance, and conflict escalation with all team members within your workplace environment. Generate and deliver comprehensive daily end-of-shift reports, operational feedback, and data to SMT team supervisors. Provide operational feedback and data analysis to supervisor and recommend potential improvement actions to minimize deficiencies. Communicate constantly with your co-workers about the status of the products/projects at hand, utilizing verbal communication or two-way radio transmission. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with different departments, shifts, and various levels of leadership as needed. Perform duties of all SMT levels, including operating machinery to meet production schedules and departmental requirements. Support SMTs with equipment maintenance and repair and replacement of equipment as needed. Ability to understand, interpret, uphold, and teach Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instruction (SWIs). Efficiently train SMTs at all levels in role duties such as SOPs, processes, and other required material. Perform advanced preventative and reactive maintenance as necessary. Manage and coordinate raw materials for use in production. Flexibility with work shifts and open to cross training across processes within assign department. Lead by example and adhere to all company rules, QuickTake Policies including Critical Safety Rules. Encourage behaviors that embody the key traits of a High-Performance Culture (HPC) and effectively motivate team members to excel in a high-performing team environment. Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred Education Required: High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED), or minimum two years of production/manufacturing experience Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree Essential Qualifications Proficient in the English language, encompassing adeptness in reading, writing, and verbal communication. Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and experienced in computer operations, with knowledge of navigating department-specific system programs. Comprehensive understanding of the principles and methodologies associated with the 6S and Lean processes. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in roles such as Shift Lead, Team Lead, or a related position. Four to Six years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Possess or ability to learn the necessary skills to effectively use high-quality equipment relevant to the designated area of work. Familiarity with the 6S, Continuous Improvement, Standard Work and Job Instruction. Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES), SCADA, SAP and data visualization tools.
