Process Lead - Albuquerque Plant
POSITION OVERVIEW The Process Lead provides servant-based leadership, combined with platform-wide data excellence, to achieve breakthrough production results on our Crunchy system. This position is accountable for guiding the execution of daily, monthly, and 90-day plans to deliver an improvement glidepath via data analysis, creative problem-solving, and rigorous application of Foundational Systems and Driving System Utilization. The process lead role aids their platform team in driving out losses by leveraging data and effective problem solving skills. The Crunchy process lead would build capability across the platform to develop multi-skilled teams using data as their guide. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Accountable to the 24-hour platform results specifically related to process losses Supports and leads capability development of the platform members as per the Technician Career System to identify, measure and drive out losses to deliver targeted line / system results by providing coaching, support, direction and ongoing feedback This position is technical and is depended on to deliver critical technical expertise to drive out process losses: Ensure data accuracy according to Capacity Analysis rules and help the team leverage this data to identify, prioritize and eliminate losses Own centerline daily management system (CL) across the platform and accountable to coach and develop technician CL system owners across the platform Supports the development of the loss tree and glidepath, and leads execution of portions of the 90-Day improvement plan to deliver the results Supports Platform Leader’s quality functional ownership by leveraging technical expertise to ensures line / system is meeting product attributes and process parameters that drive them Applies advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses Drives Statistical Process Control (SPC) to support overuse and overpack reduction Rapid Changeover subject matter expert to drive out planned losses Leads change management and validation processes for system and process changes Coaches problem solving methodologies and mindset to enable technicians to routinely identify and eliminate the root causes of problems Foster an inclusive environment where people work together to solve problems and collaborate across boundaries to share best practices Partner with the Engineering organization on capital and product commercialization Create and follow personal development plan to: Build platform technical skills and where applicable support trainer and qualifier needs via the Technician Career System Develop deep understanding of all DMS (CIL, CL, DH, BE, etc.) to optimize coaching span of influence and loss analysis Apply the Reward and Recognition System expectations at the individual and team level Able to cover the Platform Leader and Maintenance Leader responsibilities in the short-term absence MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 2 years of related manufacturing experience Working knowledge of data systems including MAXIMO, MQIS, INSQL, and GSTEMS Demonstrated capability/understanding when using capacity analysis Demonstrated capability in application of Foundational Systems and Driving System Utilization Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree Knowledge of Crunchy Bars (processing and packaging) Engineering/Technical Degree strongly preferred ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $68700.00 - $103200.00 / Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
