Description:  Title Solutions Consultant - Process Manufacturing Informatics
Client is looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our Professional Services group that will take responsibility for the design and configuration of our Discoverant product. Discoverant is a Process Management Informatics (PMI) application that integrates powerful ad hoc investigational analytics with a unique data modeling technology. The software provides real-time, on-demand data access, analysis and reporting of manufacturing and process development data on-demand by the end users themselves, reducing supply chain costs by making manufacturing process outcomes. This position will work in conjunction with the project team and serve as the primary customer interface for the technical aspects of the Discoverant project(s). This key role will also construct Discoverant Data Models to support an end-user focused access to data while utilizing existing customer database structures. Working closely with customers to understand architecture and infrastructure requirements and to recommend appropriate solutions for our Process Management Informatics’ product suite can be expected as well. Mapping user requirements for data access to existing database structures and constructing SQL views to provide generic interfaces to data on source database systems will also be a priority in this role.
Requirements A qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in Chemistry, Biology or Biological Sciences, Engineering or another relevant scientific discipline, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience developing commercial software products or enterprise software applications. Industry experience in the academic area of study is plus. The ability to effectively multi-task amongst multiple projects is imperative, along with the ability to work on projects either alone or as part of a team. Delivery of the projects will be within the constraints of scope, quality, time and costs in order to meet the project objectives and to achieve high customer satisfaction. 

We are looking for someone with the following technical skills:

• Experience with process management and compliance software is preferred. Direct experience with Discoverant as a configurator or an end-user is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry or a related field required. Industry experience in manufacturing using Discoverant is a plus.
• A minimum two years of experience in data management or data warehousing, preferably in a lead role within a consulting environment.
• Pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
• Experience in delivery validated solutions to the pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with Pipeline Pilot / Accelrys Enterprise Platform is a plus.
