Pay

$31.55 - $36.79 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus shift differential of $1.00 for any hours worked on 2nd Shift

2nd Shift (Sunday – Thursday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic to join our 2nd Shift Maintenance team.

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment necessary to the manufacturing function in process areaPerform other related duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Working knowledge and thorough understanding of pneumatics, power transmissions (chain drives, e.g.), pumps, valves and bearing applicationTechnical maintenance training Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical equipment issuesAbility to read mechanical blueprints and drawingsAccurate measuring abilityAbility to furnish personal tools as required on the Process Mechanic tool list Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles

Preferred Qualifications

Sketching abilityFour years of industrial maintenance experienceExperience as a Maintenance Utility at McKee FoodsHydraulics experienceAbility to obtain and maintain an L.T.O. Lift Truck Operator license Electrical training at a technical schoolBasic welding and fabricationBasic machine shop
