About the position:

The Process Monitoring and Optimization Lead supervises a team of Process Engineers at the Chevron ENGINE Center. This role will support Chevron�s Refineries and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) assets. The Process Monitoring and Optimization Lead will manage team that forms part of a larger Process Engineering function across Chevron. The role contributes to and executes process monitoring and optimizing activities for large complex process facilities in support of safe, reliable operations. This role will report to the Process Engineering Manager at Chevron�s ENGINE Center.

Key responsibilities:

Provide a safe, respectful work environment for the team

Ensure that team and individual deliverables are understood, performance expectations are clear, and that progress is measured and reported

Accountable for coaching and developing competence in these programs for the Process Monitoring team members

Understand the requirements and priorities of our operating facilities and allocate resources accordingly

Communicate work requirements and priorities to the team; monitor progress timelines and quality of work products and provide feedback for improvement

Execute and deliver workflows related to Process Monitoring

Manage and monitor workflows such as the development and maintenance of monitoring tools & dashboards, process parameter performance setting & maintenance, reporting and recommendations

Contribute to metrics showing performance of the team against and progress on competitive performance measures

Monitor short and long-term trends and conditions, proactively understanding the health of processes and respond appropriately

Required qualification:

Bachelor�s degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university with 8 � 15 years of operational support experience

Leadership and supervisory experience preferred
