Process Operator
Job Description

Process Operators will be working in the 'Process Area' part of the plant, which specializes in manufacturing bricks. This is a refractory plant, and the bricks produced range from 3 inches to 33 inches in length. The process involves multiple stages including creation and heat treatment before the bricks are shipped to customers. Operators will learn and be trained on 10 different work stations within the Process Area, ensuring variety and rotation in daily tasks.

ResponsibilitiesOperate sit down forklifts and perform repetitive lifting and motions.Conduct basic computer tasks such as data entry and basic math for counting bricks and pallets.Remove tie-ins on pallets of bricks and restack them on new pallets at the Lingl station.Feed bricks into the oven at the Cascade Feed station, using a lift vacuum for longer bricks when necessary.Stack bricks on pallets in the Size Check area after they come off the conveyor belt.Oversee robots, attend to alarms, and load pallets of materials into machines in the Robot area.Perform frequent data entry and operate forklifts in the FL driver role.Manage the shrinking process where pallets go into an oven, seal them with a heat gun, and prepare for shipping in the Shrinking area.Essential SkillsExperience with sit down forklifts.Basic computer skills for data entry.Basic math skills for counting bricks and pallets.Ability to lift 20-50 pounds and handle repetitive motions.Strong awareness of safety protocols.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.56 - $24.56
