Role Overview
Monitor and operate process systems and equipment within assigned area. Conduct routine maintenance and in-process testing, interpreting results and implementing corrective actions as needed. Maintain accurate shift logs, documenting safety issues, quality concerns, mechanical problems, repairs, and process changes. Communicate shift handoff information with the oncoming operator. Operate powered industrial vehicles, such as forklifts, after receiving necessary certification and training. Utilize computer software and hardware tools for process control, analytics, and communication. Keep assigned areas clean and orderly, ensuring all passageways and aisles remain unobstructed.Skills & Qualifications
Strong commitment to safety regulations, policies, and practices. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform minor routine maintenance on equipment. Excellent safety behavior and adherence to protocols. Experience with process control, analytics, computer software, and hardware tools preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, weekends, and respond promptly to site work schedule needs. Strong communication skills, both with colleagues and customers. Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and manage physical tasks in a challenging environment.Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Applied Science degree in Process Technology preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Process/Production Operator or Material Handler in a catalyst, petrochemical, refining, chemical, or similar manufacturing environment. Valid driver's license required.Pay & Benefits
