**Job Title: Process Operator**
**Job Description**
Operators are responsible for ensuring customer orders are filled and out for delivery in a timely manner. Tasks include general cleaning of the plant, washing hoses, washing and disposing of large totes and drums, filling liquid chemical orders, and material handling using a sit-down forklift. This role primarily involves handling liquid chemicals used for water treatment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Take direction from the shift manager to fill and stage orders at the dock.
+ Load trucks when they arrive.
+ Clean hoses used for filling totes with liquid chemicals.
+ Tidy up around the warehouse and clean drums as needed.
+ Move finished totes or palletized drums using an electronic pallet jack and sit-down forklift.
+ Fill out paperwork accurately, including process conditions, test results, instrument readings, and shipping paperwork.
+ Spend significant time washing out used totes, disposing of used totes, and cutting down and washing trashed drums.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience on a sit-down forklift for at least 6 months or current regular use in a job.
+ Experience in a manufacturing or production job or other labor-intensive roles.
+ Customer focus and attention to detail to ensure correct labeling and item selection.
+ Willingness and ability to work outside as needed.
+ **Steel-toed shoes.**
+ Ability to take direct feedback on work performance and processes.
+ Willingness to work with chemicals while following safety procedures.
+ Willingness to shave beard down to stubble or short beard to fit into a respirator if needed.
**Shift & Pay**
+ 2nd shift: 12pm - 8pm
+ With up to 10 hours of OT as wanted!
+ **$20**

**Work Environment**
+ Operators must wear PPE, including a bump cap, safety glasses, gloves, a respirator in some areas, and a 'chemical suit' which can add 10-15 degrees of heat.
+ The warehouse is temperature controlled to an extent, but it can still be hot in the summer while moving around and wearing the suit.
+ Main chemicals handled include Phosphates, Sodium Hypochlorite, Caustic Soda, and various Coagulants.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camby, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
