Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Process Operator/Crane to join their team. As a Process Operator/Crane, you will be part of the Transitions department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a team player, and have experience with stainless alloys and blueprints.
**Job Title:** Process Operator/Crane
**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**Pay Range:** Competitive
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up and operate equipment and processes for Phases of transition manufacturing
+ Interpret detailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufactures specifications, etc., and determines necessary tools to perform required machining operations
+ Load, unload materials from equipment and move material to next operation
+ Assist quality organization with measuring, testing, charting of operational information and/or recording data
+ Follow Siemens established procedures to operate machinery and equipment
**What's Needed?**
+ 2 to 3 years of applied trades training, working with stainless alloys; use of blueprints, metrology, visual weld inspection and must have an understanding of electrical schematics etc.
+ Must be able to use close tolerance measuring devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.) and be able to perform measurement conversions, read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions
+ Must have the ability to complete forklift, crane operator and LPI certifications
+ Computer knowledge required
+ U.S. Citizenship or Canada Citizenship required
